Under the backdrop of the "dual carbon" goals, the green transformation of automotive products is accelerating. Recently, an "environmentally friendly car ashtray" made of plant fibers and biodegradable plastics has entered the market and is gaining popularity among young consumers.

Developed by a domestic startup, the product is made from corn starch and bamboo fiber. Once discarded, it completely degrades naturally within six months, eliminating the "microplastic" pollution caused by traditional plastic ashtrays. Furthermore, its modular design allows for replacement of the inner liner, extending its lifespan.

The company's head stated, "We're not just making ashtrays; we're promoting a responsible way of traveling." The product is in talks with several new energy vehicle brands and may be introduced as an eco-friendly optional accessory.
